Eastside kids

With our youngest Eastside Kids, we want to introduce them to God's love and God's family, the church. We do this by surrounding them with amazing volunteers who show them that church is a safe place, a fun place, and a place where they are welcomed and loved.

In Preschool, we want to engage the kids' sense of wonder as we teach them about our great big God who made us and loves us. Each month, we have a simple truth that we learn through Bible stories. We have video led worship and a lesson each week. Throughout the service, we engage in games, crafts, and guided play that connect with the weekly Bible story. Notes: Must be potty-trained.  Move-Up-to-Kindergarten Day is in September. 

We want kids to learn about God's character as a model for how they should live in the elementary grade levels. Each month, we focus on a different virtue and look at how God Himself or His people in the Bible display that virtue and try to discover what that looks like in our own lives. We believe that kids learn best through fun, so we incorporate energetic worship, creative storytelling, activities, games, and crafts that all point back to the weekly Bottom Line.

In these grade-specific groups, our leaders are able to connect with each kid at their level with activities and discussions that connect what they learned in the main lesson with their everyday lives.
